During the first three weeks of September the Academy of Education Arts and Sciences' Education Technology Board reviewed the submissions for the best edtech resources of 2014 and identified the following winners.
Best App of the Year - Remind
Best Teaching Tool of the Year - Class Dojo
Best Web site Resource - Symbaloo EDU
The companies were recognized by the Academy on September 27, at the 2014 Bammy Awards
In a separate vote, which included both company submissions and community recommendations the Academy's Education Technology board selected the following as the top 50 edtech resources of 2014. The Bammy Top 50 will be promoted to hundreds of thousands of the most passionate educators and early adopters on Bam Education Radio Network, to associations in our network, to our mailing lists, on our top rated radio programs on iTunes and on twitter and Facebook. The Bammy Top 50 list with also be tapped throughout the year for guest interviews on our popular education radio shows hosted by some the nation’s most influential people in the edtech space. Finally all BAM Top 50 winners may display the distinctive top 50 badge on their web sites and in their marketing collateral.
